US Congresswoman Calls for an End to Israeli Expulsions in Silwan
"Israel's" forcible expulsion of Palestinian families from al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem) has been condemned as despicable by US Congresswoman Marie Newman.
The US Congresswoman Marie Newman described the Israeli policy of forcibly expulsing Palestinians from their homes in Silwan Neighborhood, al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) as "despicable."
Furthermore, she added that the Israeli government is trampling on Palestinian rights and international law in eastern al-Quds.
She also urged US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to state unequivocally that the demolitions must end instantly.
It is worth mentioning that the Israeli occupation previously forced 8 Jerusalemite families to demolish their own homes or have the occupation demolish them. Then these families were billed for the cost, which amounted to almost $61,000.
Despicable. Palestinian families are being ripped from their homes in the neighborhood of Silwan.

The Israeli government is trampling on Palestinian rights and international law in East Jerusalem. @SecBlinken needs to make clear that these demolitions must end NOW.
