Salah Bajash to Al Mayadeen: "The Saudi aggression continues to commit its heinous crimes."

16 civilians have been martyred and eight others have been injured as a result of the Saudi-led aggression raids in the Taiz governorate.

The Governor of Taiz in the Sanaa government, Salah Bajash, stressed that the Saudi-led coalition continues to commit its heinous crimes, showcasing the extent of its moral degeneration due to its repeated defeats on various fronts.

Talking to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, the governor asserted that the crimes of the Saudi-led coalition and its escalation of aggression will only render the Yemeni people stronger and more steadfast.

In the past hours, the Saudi-led coalition warplanes re-targeted Sanaa International Airport and its surroundings, claiming that it was being used for "military purposes."

The Sanaa government has repeatedly denied such allegations.

Yesterday, al-Majd Brigade Commander of President Hadi's forces, Brigadier General Hilal al-Khalidi, was killed with a number of his soldiers in battles with the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees on the outskirts between the city of Marib and the Juba District, south of Marib Governorate.

According to The Guardian, Saudi Arabia initiated a lobbying campaign to shut down a UN investigation of human rights violations committed by the Saudi-led coalition forces in Yemen, using "incentives and threats", according to sources close to the matter.
