17 Gaza clan members killed in IOF airstrike while awaiting aid
The Israeli occupation forces commit a new massacre against clan members waiting to receive humanitarian aid to distribute to families in Gaza.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported Saturday evening that 17 Palestinians were martyred and 30 others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted popular and tribal committees at Kuwait Roundabout in Gaza City while they were awaiting to receive humanitarian aid to distribute to families in the enclave.
The Higher Council for Palestinian Tribal Affairs in Gaza had confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces assassinated a number of its members while waiting to receive humanitarian aid, days ago, at the same roundabout.
The Council pointed out that the Israeli assassinations reflect the extent of the occupation's failure to strike Palestinian unity, stressing that clans in the Gaza Strip "work as one" and prohibit any communication with the Israeli occupation regardless of the cost and sacrifices.
This comes as the Israeli occupation forces continue, on the 177th day of the war, to bombard areas across the Gaza Strip, especially the vicinity of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza.
Earlier, an Israeli airstrike targeted a house in the al-Maghazi camp in central Gaza, while another strike on Salah al-Din Street resulted in the martyrdom of one Palestinian.
Israeli warships also targeted the coasts of the al-Nusairat camp in central Gaza, and artillery shelling targeted the north of the camp and the east of the al-Bureij camp.
Our correspondent reported two injuries from an Israeli drone strike targeting a house in the al-Jenehna neighborhood, east of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
He added that Israeli warplanes bombed several areas in the town of Aabasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, south of the Strip, and also launched a series of raids south-east of the city.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent mentioned that several people were injured as a result of Israeli shelling that targeted the tents of displaced people in al-Mawasi neighborhood, west of Khan Younis city.
Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike on the eastern areas of Jabalia town, northern Gaza Strip, where Israeli artillery shelling targeted al-Sikka and Salah al-Din streets.
Our correspondent confirmed that several Palestinians were injured in the Israeli bombardment that targeted civilians south of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
107 patients experiencing inhumane conditions at al-Shifa
In a related context, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip pointed out that 107 patients are living in inhumane conditions without water, electricity, or medicine at the al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, which has been besieged by the Israeli occupation forces for two weeks.
The Ministry noted that 30 of these patients, gathered in the Human Resources Development building at the hospital, are disabled.
It emphasized that the Israeli occupation forces have prevented all attempts to evacuate them with the help of international institutions, warning that their well-being is in imminent danger and calling for urgent steps to save these patients' lives.
On its part, the Gaza Government Media Office reported Saturday evening that, during the 13 days since storming the al-Shifa Complex, the Israeli occupation forces destroyed, burned, and targeted 1050 houses, killing more than 400 people, and detaining and torturing hundreds of patients, displaced people, and medical staff inside and in the vicinity of the complex.
The Office strongly condemned the Israeli raid into the medical complex, labeling it as a war crime and a crime against humanity.
Elsewhere, the Office denounced the international silence toward this crime and the Israeli occupation's insistence on killing, starving, and torturing those inside the al-Shifa Medical Complex and its vicinity.
