19 Israeli guards beat Palestinian prisoner Thaer Abu Assab to death
Palestine's Detainees Commission confirms that "Israel" murdered Abu Assab, who had been detained since May 27, 2005, and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
The Palestinian Wafa news agency cited a report by Israeli media, stating that Palestinian inmate Thaer Abu Assab has been beaten to death by 19 Israeli prison guards, as confirmed by Israeli media.
The guards of the Israel Prison Services (IPS) beat the 38-year-old Abu Assab to his death last month.
The Israeli Hayom report was cited by Wafa, which explained that he was from Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank and was murdered in "Israel’s" "Ktzi'ot Prison", the largest detention facility located in al-Naqab.
It was reported that those involved have been released under “restrictive conditions” until the investigation concludes.
Israeli Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has appraised the jailers, claiming they were not guilty.
