Two high-ranking Israeli officers injured in West Bank confrontations
Palestinian Resistance fighters targeted invading Israeli occupation forces in several IED ambushes in the West Bank.
The Israeli military command announced that two high-ranking military officers were injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) ambush, in Tulkarm, in the occupied West Bank.
The commander of the 431st Menashe Brigade and the commander of the 877th "Judea and Samaria" Division were both injured after an IED targeted a vehicle they were in.
Meanwhile, Israeli assaults on towns of the West Bank continued, while Resistance fighters confronted ongoing Israeli attacks on Tulkarm and other areas.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - Tulkarm Brigade announced that it ambushed an Israeli force in the Tulkarm refugee camp, firing heavy barrages of bullets at invading forces, causing injuries among them. Al-Quds Brigades - Tulkarm Brigade also said that it detonated several pre-planted IEDs, targeting military-grade Israeli bulldozers in the Nur Shams refugee camp, in the same governorate.
Near the city of Tubas, in Tamoun, fighters from the al-Quds Brigades - Tubas Brigade ambushed Israeli forces in the town. Resistance fighters detonated a large IED, damaging a military utility vehicle and injuring several Israeli troops.
On its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent announced that two people were critically injured as a result of an Israeli strike on the town of Tamoun.
In Tulkarm, the occupation forces demolished a car garage in the village of Nabi Elias. Israeli forces also raided the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank around Al-Najah University and the Balata refugee camp.
Simultaneously, Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Azzun east of Qalqilya and arrested two young men from the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah.
