The female Palestinian prisoners are a red line

The Palestinian Prisoners Information Office announced that the coming hours will carry a serious escalation, noting that there have been reports of repression units assaulting prisoners in Nafha prison.

The Prisoners Information Office also pointed out that the occupation’s prison administration has turned the female prisoners section in Damon prison into an isolated section, and that 3 female prisoners started an open hunger strike with the rest of the prisoners set to join them.

Simultaneously, the senior leadership body of Hamas prisoners said: "We are heading towards dissolving the administration of the organization of prisoners' affairs in all prisons," blaming the occupation’s administration for the deterioration that has occurred.

On Tuesday, the captive movement said, "The female Palestinian prisoners are a red line, and harming them will lead to the eruption of the situation within and without prisons."

In a statement, the Palestinian prisoners movement clarified that "the first response operation, which was carried out by the hero Youssef Al-Mabhouh, will not be the last unless the prison administration responds to the demands of the female prisoners, returns them to the departments and meets all their demands."

It also called on the Palestinian people to consider the coming Friday as the Friday of the female prisoners, under the slogan "The female prisoners are a red line."

The prisoner movement in all occupation prisons also announced an escalatory step that includes refusing breakfast and closing sections until noon, to demand the release of the prisoner Hisham Abu Hawash who has been on hunger strike for 128 days, stopping the attack against Nafha prison, and implementing the agreement on female prisoners in Damon Prison.
