Palestinian prisoners movement calls for saving life of prisoner Abu Hawash
The Waed society for prisoners reports that the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli occupation's prisons have decided as of tomorrow morning to start escalating in the face of the occupation.
The Palestinian prisoners' movement in occupied Palestine has issued an urgent call to all Palestinian factions and parties to intervene to save the life of prisoner Hisham Abu Hawash, who has been on hunger strike for 130 days.
"The prisoners continue their battle against the occupation's prison administration until they seize all their rights and maintain their dignity," prisoner media reported. This came after they had previously said the Israeli prisons administration decided to ban visitation for all Hamas prisoners in the Israeli occupation's prisons.
The Waed society for prisoners said Tuesday the Palestinian prisoners' movement decided as of Wednesday morning to escalate in the face of the Israeli occupation in all the prisons across occupied Palestine.
These escalations come with the aim of releasing prisoner Hisham Abu Hawash and putting an end to the Israeli attacks and abuses in Nafha prison, in addition to implementing the special agreement on the female prisoners in the Damon prison.
The home of Palestinian prisoner Youssef Al-Mabhouh in Jabaliya Camp, who the Israeli occupation claims carried out the stabbing operation in Nafha prison, saw Palestinians protesting in solidarity with the prisoner. The protest was attended by Hamas official Mushir al-Masri.
The Israeli occupation's prisons are in a state of high tension, Al Mayadeen correspondent reported, underscoring that there had been no contact with any prisoners in Section 12, which rendered the fate of some 80 prisoners unknown.
"Many are fearing for the lives of the Section 12 prisoners in Nafha prison over the Israeli prisons administration's systemic suppression campaign," our correspondent said, noting that some of the prisoners are ill and of the elderly.
