Israeli military withdrew from some border towns
Earlier on Friday, the Israeli occupation military admitted to the killing of a soldier from the 8207th Battalion of the Alon Brigade (228) due to injuries sustained on October 26 during a battle in southern Lebanon.
"Israel" only announces a fraction of its human and material losses, with the Israeli Military Censor unit imposing a strict ban on such reporting.
This comes as the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah continue to fiercely fend off Israeli attempts to advance toward southern Lebanese towns and villages amid a relentless aggression waged by the Israeli occupation military across Lebanon, which has so far killed more than 3,000 people, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry.
On Wednesday evening, commemorating the 40th day since Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's martyrdom, the Islamic Resistance Operations Room in Lebanon issued a comprehensive statement outlining the latest developments in Operation People of Might.
It pointed out that due to the relentless and sustained resistance strikes, coupled with the failure of the occupation forces to establish a foothold within the border villages, the Israeli military was compelled to withdraw from several towns it had advanced into, withdrawing beyond the border.
