30 new Palestinian prisoners liberated in sixth batch
Thirty new prisoners have been liberated from Israeli prisons through an exchange deal negotiated by the Palestinian resistance with the Israeli occupation entity, marking the liberation of the sixth batch of prisoners.
30 new prisoners, including 15 young prisoners, were liberated on Thursday at dawn as part of the sixth batch of the prisoner exchange deal agreed upon between the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and the Israeli occupation.
The Palestinians welcomed the freed prisoners, raising flags of Hamas and Al-Qassam in the western part of Ramallah, with slogans honoring the brigades and the resistance.

It also published scenes of handing over its Israeli prisoners to the International Red Cross, amid a large popular crowd and chants in support of the Brigades.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Israeli occupation's prison service said that 30 Palestinian prisoners were liberated from the Israeli occupation's prisons as part of the prisoners-captives swap deal imposed on the Israeli occupation.
This comes after al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement, and al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, revealed Tuesday that they handed over a new batch of Israeli captives in Gaza to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
Talks on truce extension
Meanwhile, according to Bloomberg, American and Qatari negotiators are seeking to extend the truce for two additional days, as it enters its final day.
Egyptian media reported that Hamas takes a truce extension to be a likely scenario, noting however that the conditions for the release of Israeli soldiers held by the Palestinian Resistance will be entirely different. The media also added that "the ongoing negotiations include discussions on how to end the war and lift the blockade on Gaza."

On Tuesday, Reuters cited an informed source as saying that the heads of the Israeli Mossad and the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) met with the Qatari Prime Minister in Doha to "build on progress" on the 48-hour extension to the truce between "Israel" and the Palestinian Resistance group Hamas. The source stated that Egyptian officials were also present, noting that the meeting in Doha would also work up to the next phase of a potential deal.
An op-ed written for the New York Times on Tuesday details that the extension of the truce from four days to six is causing doubt over whether the Israeli occupation would resume its hostilities in Gaza or if it would stop its onslaught dead in its tracks.
The extension of the ceasefire has also prompted expectations that both the Israeli occupation and the Resistance may consider further short-term renewals. As the duration of the ceasefire grows, external pressure on "Israel" to make it permanent intensifies, while internal pressures urge for its conclusion.
