The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon responded to yesterday’s massacre committed by the Israeli occupation against civilian homes in the southern town of Bint Jbeil by firing 30 Katyusha rockets toward “Kiryat Shmona”, northern occupied Palestine, according to a statement the Resistance group released today.

Israeli media acknowledged that the salvo of rockets resulted in a gas leak in the settlement and severe damage to two settlement units. It also claimed that 16 missiles were launched from Lebanon with 10 explosions reportedly heard in the area.

The Resistance’s operation comes in response to the massacre committed against three Lebanese civilians, Ali Bazzi, Ibrahim Bazzi, and Ibrahim's wife, Shourouq Hammoud, who were martyred in an Israeli strike on the house they were staying in.

This Israeli attack shows that the Israeli occupation continues to escalate its bombardment against Lebanese villages and civilians in southern Lebanon, carrying out its attacks by bombing the outskirts of Lebanese villages and towns adjacent to the border with occupied Palestine.

On his part, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in South Lebanon reported today that an Israeli drone targeted a house in the town of al-Jibbain, while the occupation artillery targeted a house in Kfar Kila and shelled Tayr Harfa and Naqoura.

In the same context, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah released footage depicting tts freedom fighters targeting a newly established Israeli site near the “Shomera” Barracks.

Earlier today, and in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their honorable Resistance, Hezbollah conducted a joint attack involving attack drones, rockets, and artillery weapons targeting gatherings and vehicles of Israeli soldiers in a newly established site behind the enemy's positions in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms, causing confirmed casualties.

Hezbollah fighters also targeted with Burkan rockets the Israeli site of Khirbet Ma’ar and its artillery positions, in addition to the occupation forces positioned around it, achieving confirmed hits.

They also targeted a newly established command and control room in the vicinity of the Israeli naval Ras al-Naqoura military site, on Wednesday morning, in addition to the Israeli Hadab al-Bustan military site, opposite the Lebanese town of al-Bustan, in the western sector.
