40 prisoners transferred from Nafha to unknown destinations
The Prisoners Information Office says the occupation has confiscated electrical devices, forbidden access to the prison's courtyard, and prevented lawyers and legal staff from visiting prisoners in section 12 in Nafha Prison.
The Palestinian Prisoners Information Office reported Thursday that the Israeli occupations' Prisons Administration transferred 40 prisoners from Nafha prison to unknown destinations.
The information office added that the occupation prisons administration continues to impose harsh penalties on the prisoners of section 12 in Nafha Prison.
The occupation forces have turned the section into cells, confiscated electrical devices, and forbidden access to the prison's courtyard, in addition to preventing lawyers and legal staff from visiting prisoners.
The office indicated that the situation will not return the way it was without terminating the isolation of the prisoners.
It is noteworthy that on Wednesday, the Palestinian Prisoners Club confirmed that the occupation ended the isolation of two women prisoners, Shurooq Dwayyat and Marah Bakeer, following protests that lasted for days carried out by male and women prisoners in parallel with negotiations from various Palestinian factions.
The Prisoners Information Office also pointed out that the occupation’s prisons administration has turned the female prisoners' section in Damon prison into an isolated section, and 3 female prisoners started an open hunger strike with the rest of the prisoners set to join them.
A few days ago, the captive movement warned that "the female Palestinian prisoners are a red line, and harming them will blow up the situation within and without prisons."
