The Health Ministry in Gaza reported Friday that 896 Palestinians have been killed since "Israel" resumed its large-scale offensive on March 18, including 41 fatalities in the past 24 hours alone. The total death toll since the beginning of the war on October 7, 2023, now stands at 50,251.
As the number of casualties continues to climb, humanitarian agencies warn of an increasingly catastrophic situation on the ground. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) stated this week that no humanitarian aid has entered Gaza for more than three weeks—the longest stretch without aid since the war began.
UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini described the conditions as "humanity at its darkest hour," noting widespread shortages of food, clean water, and medical supplies. Fuel scarcity has also disrupted essential services, including hospitals and sanitation systems.
The humanitarian crisis has been further compounded by the Israeli occupation's suspension of the Humanitarian Notification System, which previously helped coordinate and protect aid workers. Humanitarian groups say this has forced an 80% reduction in operations, leaving civilians increasingly isolated from lifesaving assistance.
With over 1.9 million people—about 90% of Gaza's population—displaced, many multiple times, aid agencies continue to urge immediate access to deliver emergency relief and prevent further deterioration of conditions in the besieged territory.

No humanitarian aid has entered Gaza for more than 3 weeks now.
This is longest that Gaza has been without any supplies since the war began.
During the ceasefire, 500–600 trucks arrived daily.
Now, nothing.
