50 Palestinian homes razed as 'Israel' continues West Bank demolitions

Smoke rises from Palestinian homes in the West Bank (Quds News)
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) bulldozers carried out large-scale demolitions on Thursday morning in Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarm in the northern West Bank, targeting 17 residential buildings that house 50 Palestinian families.
At the same time, the IOF ordered eight Palestinian families near the Jenin refugee camp to evacuate their homes by Thursday evening, threatening to permanently bar them from returning.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces demolished several homes and set others on fire in Jenin refugee camp, where bulldozers have already destroyed more than four homes in the Falouja and Samran neighborhoods and carved out new roads inside the camp.

The occupation has been besieging Jenin and its refugee camp for 45 consecutive days, resulting in the killing of 30 Palestinians, the injury and arrest of dozens, and the displacement of thousands.
Since the start of the Israeli aggression, around 20,000 residents of Jenin refugee camp have been forcibly displaced. The occupation has completely demolished 120 homes and caused partial damage to dozens more.

On Thursday, Israeli forces arrested more than 30 Palestinians across the West Bank and stormed several villages south of Al-Khalil, ransacking homes.
In Nablus, occupation forces arrested a Palestinian after raiding his house and vandalizing its contents. They also stormed Salem village, east of the city, damaging Palestinian homes.
Violent confrontations erupted in Ramallah and Al-Khalil, during which Israeli forces shot and wounded a Palestinian child in Al-Rihiya village, south of Al-Khalil.

The occupation also demolished the home of Palestinian prisoner Hael Deifallah in Rafat and blew up two apartments in Al-Khalil, which belonged to detainees accused by "Israel: of carrying out a shooting in Tel Aviv.
On Wednesday, Israeli forces notified 17 Palestinian families in the Al-Manshiya neighborhood of Nur Shams refugee camp that their homes would be demolished to make way for a new road. This comes just days after the occupation razed 11 homes in the same camp, as part of its escalating demolition campaign.
