The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that in the last 24 hours, 57 martyrs and 137 injuries were recorded in Gaza hospitals, while many victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, with rescue teams unable to reach them due to the ongoing aerial bombardments and the destruction of vital infrastructure.
Since March 18, 2025, the toll has risen to 1,391 martyrs and 3,434 injuries.
The total toll from the Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, now stands at 50,752 martyrs and 115,475 injuries.
At Dawn Monday, a Palestinian journalist and a young man were killed and several others injured when Israeli aircraft targeted a journalists' tent near the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that journalist Hilmi al-Faqawi, and Yousef al-Khazindar were martyred, while other journalists, including Ahmed Mansour, Hassan Islayh, Ahmed al-Agha, Mohammed Fayek, Abdullah al-Attar, Ihab al-Bardini, Mahmoud Awad, and Majed Qudaih, sustained injuries in the bombing of the tent.
In response, the Palestinian Media Union condemned the Israeli bombing of the journalists' tent in Khan Younis, mourning the loss of journalist Hilmi al-Faqawi, a correspondent for Palestine Today News Agency.
The Palestinian Center for Defending Journalists emphasized that these attacks on journalists are part of a systematic pattern of gross human rights violations by "Israel", particularly against journalists who should be protected under international humanitarian law.

The press association expressed grief over the martyrdom of Hilmi al-Faqawi, who joins the ranks of fallen journalists in the Palestinian media movement. It called for an end to the war crimes committed against Palestinian journalists and media professionals, urging immediate action to prosecute those responsible for these atrocities in international courts as war criminals.
The group also praised the dedication of journalists working tirelessly to document and expose "Israel’s" crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.
