60% of Lebanese believe Resistance is main deterrent against 'Israel'
A poll by the Consultative Center for Studies and Documentation reveals that around 90% of the Lebanese hold the United States responsible for the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza.
Over half of the Lebanese people believe that the Resistance is the primary factor today deterring the Israeli occupation from launching an all-out war against Lebanon, a poll conducted by the Consultative Center for Studies and Documentation found.
The survey showed that 60% of the population, especially from the Sunni, Shia, and Druze communities, believe that Lebanon's inclusion in the Axis of Resistance enhances its state of deterrence.
Significantly, about 90% of those surveyed hold the United States responsible for the continued aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The majority of respondents across all communities and sects believe that the Israeli entity does not need any pretext to launch a comprehensive war against Lebanon, and said they supported the official Lebanese position regarding the aggression while rejecting the Saudi, Egyptian, and Turkish positions.
The poll also revealed that a large percentage of Lebanese people, especially Muslims, believe that the occupation entity is weak, divided, and can be defeated in the near future. This result contrasts with the approximately one-third of Christians believing so.
'Behind walls'
This comes as the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah continues to carry out daily operations against Israeli military bases and positions in support of Gaza and in response to the Israeli attacks on Lebanon, especially those targeting civilians.
The head of the local authority in the "Kiryat Shmona" settlement, Avichay Shtern, said that after 4 months, the settlers were in an unbearable situation, under tremendous pressure.
For his part, the head of the "Margaliot" council, Eitan Davidi, affirmed that the situation in the settlement is "unreasonable, and residents cannot enter or exit as they wish," adding: "We cannot move... we hide behind walls when we are in Margaliot."
