For the first time in "Israel's" history, the Israeli occupation is establishing a security belt in the occupied North and evacuating all settlers from it, according to the Israeli former head of the "Meretz" movement.

Israeli media confirmed today that Hezbollah is still capable of launching thousands of missiles on "Israel".

Political analyst and former head of the "Meretz" movement, Nitzan Horovitch, stated in an interview with Israeli Channel 12 that for the first time in "Israel's" history, the Israeli occupation is establishing a security belt in the occupied north and evacuating all settlers from it.

Earlier, Israeli newspaper Haaretz confirmed that Hezbollah has succeeded in imposing a form of a "security belt" in northern occupied Palestine as the settlements have become deserted.

It added that Hezbollah's retaliation imposed a "reality of confusion" in the occupied North, as tens of thousands of settlers have been evacuated from the occupied territories up to five kilometers in, and "Kiryat Shmona" is almost entirely evacuated.

In addition, the head of the local occupation authority in the “Kiryat Shmona” settlement, Avichai Stern, said that the settlers in the occupied north, after four months, are in an unbearable situation, and under terrible pressure.

The situation in the northern Israeli settlement of "Margaliot" is "unreasonable", and residents do not have freedom of movement, "Margaliot" settlement council chief Eitan Davidi said on Saturday. "We cannot move. We are hiding behind the walls."

"The state is not present anywhere in the North, and civilians are the ones managing affairs there," he added.

According to Davidi, "Israel is doing everything it can to avoid confrontation with Lebanon and to reach a political settlement."

He went on to call on the Israeli government to find a solution that ensures the safe return of settlers to the North after the mass displacement northern settlements have witnessed since October 8 in the wake of Hezbollah's operations in northern occupied Palestine.

1038 operations in 131 days

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon declared on February 16 that it carried out 1,038 operations against the Israeli occupation between October 8, 2023, and February 15, 2024.

These operations were conducted in solidarity with the resilient Palestinian people in Gaza and in support of their resistance, as well as in response to the occupation's aggression against Lebanese villages.

Hezbollah continued Thursday targeting Israeli military sites and settlements in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza and the Palestinian Resistance, as well as in response to the Israeli occupation's attacks on Lebanese villages and civilian homes in the country's south.

The Islamic Resistance issued a brief statement announcing that its fighters targeted the Israeli settlement of "Kiryat Shmona" with dozens of Katyusha rockets as an initial response to the massacres in Nabatieh and al-Sawaneh.

Furthermore, the fighters of the resistance targeted the Samaqa site with missiles, with several direct hits confirmed.
