Earlier today, the Ministry of Health stated that the medical staff at Beit Jala Governmental Hospital were dealing with a 7-year-old child who reached the emergency room with no pulse, after he fell from a height while being chased by the occupation forces in Teqoa, according to the testimony of the parents.

Israeli media reported that “a child died of a heart attack while soldiers were chasing him after clashes that erupted in Teqoa, Beit Lahm district,” adding that “the child Rayan Suleiman (7 years), from the town of Teqoa, southeast of Beit Lahm, died after suffering a heart attack while being pursued by Israeli soldiers."

It is noteworthy that Palestinian human rights data confirmed earlier that dozens of Palestinian martyrs were shot by the Israeli occupation, and hundreds of male and female detainees were under 18 years old.

In addition, 83 Palestinian children were killed in 2021 and 2022, according to Defense for Children International - Palestine (DCIP) data.
