At least 77 Palestinians were killed and 376 others injured in the past 24 hours across the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The fatalities include five bodies of martyrs retrieved from beneath rubble as Israeli bombardment continues to target densely populated civilian areas. Emergency crews report that many victims remain trapped under debris or lying in the open, unreachable due to ongoing airstrikes and Israeli-imposed access restrictions.
Since the beginning of the Israeli genocide on October 7, 2023, the cumulative death toll in Gaza has risen to 59,106, with 142,511 injuries. In the most recent phase of the assault, from March 18, 2025, onward, the ministry has recorded 8,268 martyrs and 30,470 wounded.
The humanitarian crisis continues to worsen as starvation spreads across the Strip. In the last 24 hours alone, five Palestinians were killed and over 52 were wounded while attempting to collect food aid. These casualties bring the total number of starved Palestinians killed during aid-seeking efforts to 1,026, with more than 6,563 injured since the beginning of the aid crisis.
The Israeli genocide continues unabated
The past day saw numerous strikes across Gaza. In al-Shati Refugee Camp west of Gaza City, an Israeli airstrike killed 15 people and wounded dozens more after targeting tents sheltering forcibly displaced families. In the eastern neighborhood of Al-Shujaiyya, Israeli invading units demolished multiple homes during ground incursions. South of Wadi Gaza, a civilian was killed along Salah al-Din Road while waiting for humanitarian aid, after Israeli troops reportedly opened fire on the crowd.
In central Gaza, two civilians were killed in an Israeli strike on Camp 12 in the Al-Bureij Refugee Camp. In Deir al-Balah, two more people died after artillery and drone fire hit the al-Hakar district. In northern Rafah, Israeli forces opened fire on crowds waiting for food at the al-Shakoush aid distribution center, killing two and injuring dozens more. In central Khan Younis, three Palestinians were killed in another Israeli airstrike near the Abu Hamid Roundabout.
Health officials warn that Gaza’s already-collapsing healthcare system cannot keep up with the rising toll. With rescue workers overwhelmed and famine tightening its grip, the civilian population faces escalating threats from both relentless Israeli aggression and the ongoing siege. The Ministry of Health has renewed its calls for urgent international intervention to prevent further loss of life and to address what it describes as a genocide unfolding in plain view.
