Dozens of civilians were martyred and scores of others were wounded, the majority of whom were women and children, in a series of brutal air strikes that targeted several areas within Gaza on the 84th day of aggression on the blockaded Strip.

The Israeli occupation used its air force, warships, and artillery to target numerous residential buildings and mosques in central and southern Gaza.

The Israeli occupation's indiscriminate air raids killed at least 11 people from one family in Khan Younis, with dozens of others wounded.

The eastern part of Khan Younis is witnessing one of the most brutal Israeli bombardment campaigns, with dozens of injuries and deaths recorded in the area.

The southern city of Rafah has also been under heavy Israeli fire, with dozens of casualties recorded in bombings that targeted the al-Shaboura refugee camp where people rushed to seek refuge after no less than 20 civilians were killed in an air raid that targeted a residential home elsewhere in the city.

In central Gaza, Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of airstrikes on the al-Maghazi camp, which killed at least 14 civilians and saw the destruction of a mosque in the camp.

Another refugee camp, the Bureij camp, was severely bombed by the Israeli occupation forces, with the al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital saying it received several martyrs and casualties.

+21,000 martyrs

In a preliminary tally, the Israeli occupation's aggression on Gaza, which has been ongoing for nearly three months now, has killed more than 21,000 people and wounded over 56,000 others in addition to the thousands that have gone missing, the majority of all of whom are women and children.

Just yesterday, according to data provided by the spokesperson of Gaza's Ministry of Health, Ashraf al-Qudra, the Israeli occupation forces heavily bombarded residential homes in Beit Lahia, al-Maghazi, and Khan Younis, which tragically killed 50 people and wounded dozens of others as the numbers are expected to climb due to the large number of people stuck under the rubble.

In light of the devastating massacres inflicted by the Israeli occupation on the people of the Gaza Strip, Al Mayadeen's correspondent said a massive amount of people were missing beneath the rubble, with thousands of people wounded and requiring immediate assistance.
