Israeli massacres kill 50, wound dozens in southern, central Gaza
The Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip continues to harvest more lives as the death toll climbs to over 21,300.
The Israeli occupation forces heavily bombarded residential homes in Beit Lahia, al-Maghazi, and Khan Younis, which tragically killed 50 people and wounded dozens of others as the numbers are expected to climb due to the large number of people stuck under the rubble, Gaza Ministry of Health spokesperson Ashraf al-Qudra said on Thursday.
In light of the devastating massacres inflicted by the Israeli occupation on the people of the Gaza Strip, Al Mayadeen's correspondent said a massive amount of people were missing beneath the rubble, with thousands of people wounded and requiring immediate assistance.
Confronted with the profound destruction and loss of life perpetrated by "Israel" against the people of the Gaza Strip, a Palestinian woman in Gaza voiced a plea through Al Mayadeen, "We've paid with blood for al-Aqsa, so when will the Arab countries take action?"
An Al Mayadeen correspondent in the Gaza Strip reported that the occupation forces shelled residential neighborhoods in central Gaza. Ambulances are struggling to evacuate the deceased and injured from the refugee camps in Bureij and al-Maghazi.
During an interview with Al Mayadeen, an eyewitness from the Bureij camp said, "The bodies of martyrs are strewn across the roads, and the shelling spares no one." He urged the world to stand in solidarity with Gaza, emphasizing that "those who don't perish from the shelling succumb to thirst and hunger."
At least 25 martyrs were brought to the al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah in the Central Gaza Strip since Thursday morning.
Southern Gaza under fire
Turning to the southern Gaza Strip, the death toll from the Israeli massacre against displaced individuals around al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis has risen to 21 martyrs.
Israeli occupation forces are carrying out destructive and brutal raids in residential areas in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. They have also opened fire on the eastern regions of the city in the south of the Gaza Strip.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf al-Qudra, confirmed today that in the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation committed 20 massacres, resulting in 210 martyrs and 360 injuries.
The new massacres bring the total number of Palestinians killed in the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza to more than 21,320 martyrs and 55,603 injuries since October 7, mostly children and women.
Al-Qudra pointed out that the Israeli occupation is intensifying its strikes in the vicinity of the Nasser Medical Complex and expressed concern that the tragedy committed by the entity against Al-Shifa Hospital will be repeated.
The Ministry spokesperson called upon international organizations to take effective and urgent measures to ensure the protection of the Nasser complex, its staff, the wounded, patients, and the thousands of displaced people sheltered inside. Furthermore, he called on the organizations to make immediate interventions to reopen the Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
On his part, the director of Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah, Marwan al-Hams, warned that the situation is catastrophic, and infectious diseases have spread among the displaced.
