The Leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah Movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, stated today that the US and Israeli tyranny constitutes a serious threat to the Ummah (nation), in terms of religion, security, freedom, and dignity.

He said, during a speech he delivered in commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Zayd bin Ali, that without doubt the Saudi regime is allied with the US and "Israel", emphasizing that the aggression against Yemen and the conspiracies against the countries of the region serve the US and "Israel."

He also clarified that the crimes committed against the Yemeni people have surpassed "the US' ability to cover for them," highlighting that "there is no question that the position of our people in facing the tyranny of the US and Israel and their tools" is the rightful one.

Al-Houthi also stressed that one cannot remain silent in the face of the US and "Israel" as the Ummah is being desecrated and oppressed all the way from Palestine to Yemen, and he described those thinking whether to join the US-Israeli alliance or remain quiet as "mistaken."

He went on to say, "We will liberate the entirety of our country and recover all regions occupied by the Saudi-led aggression," hoping that "our people's revolutionary spirit and true" movement will "lead us to God's Divine promise of victory."

Al-Houthi also said that had they abandoned fighting, US, Israeli, and British bases would have been established in Sanaa and other provinces, promising that Yemen will remain "free, independent, and not under any occupation or custodianship."

A popular march in Saada

A popular march also took place, Thursday, in Saada, in commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Zayd bin Ali. Marchers chanted against US oppression in the region, holding signs that call for the boycott of American and Israeli products.

A statement released by the march clarified that Yemen is fighting a battle similar to that of Imam Zayd, who stood against oppression and hegemony, headed by the US and "Israel" in this context and against traitors and hypocrites embodied by the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The statement also condemned the aggression forces' theft of Yemeni riches, be that in oil, gas, fish, docking employee pay, and the ongoing attempts to create an unprecedented human catastrophe by intensifying the blockade and imposing savage measures aimed at the collapse of the national currency and raising the prices of goods and services.
