Sanaa rejects Aden's allegations of detaining a Yemeni jet: Exclusive
Sanaa's Deputy to Chief of the Civil Aviation Authority says that the allegations made by the Saudi-backed Aden authorities are false and unfounded.
Sanaa's Civil Aviation Authority deputy head Raed Jabal rejected the allegations made by the Saudi-backed "Presidential Council" of detaining a Yemeni Airlines aircraft at Sanaa International Airport.
Jabal told Al Mayadeen that these claims are false and unfounded.
In the backdrop of these events, the Sanaa government has expressed discontent over halting flights in Aden through Sanaa's airport.
A Sanaa's Ministry of Transport official said that this suspension demonstrates "the lack of seriousness of the aggressor countries in genuinely seeking peace and disregarding all the efforts made in this path."

The Yemeni agency Saba quoted the source as confirming that this "reflects the extent of the criminal determination [of the Saudi-led aggression coalition] on the blockade and intensifying the suffering of the Yemeni people, especially the patients and travelers."
Furthermore, the official criticized Yemeni Airlines for positioning itself as a "cheap tool in the hands of the aggressor countries to continue the blockade, intensify the suffering of the Yemeni people, and close Sanaa airport."
He also pointed out that the company "marketed lies and claims far from reality, and on behalf of the aggressor countries, bore the crime of the blockade, intensifying the suffering of the Yemeni people, and depriving them of their right to travel" including on trips for humanitarian purposes.

Similarly, the source confirmed that the company management's claims in Aden, that its funds are frozen or prohibited, are a "false and sheer fabrication."
"The evidence for this is that all salaries and entitlements of the airline's employees are disbursed across all regions of the Yemeni Republic from the company's balances in Sanaa, which amount to 2 million dollars monthly."
He also added that during the past period, approximately 36 million dollars were paid from the company's funds in Sanaa to cover previous operational expenses.
