Syrian Source Denies Meeting Between Turkish and Syrian Intelligence Officials
A Syrian source denies to Al Mayadeen claims of an upcoming meeting between the head of the Turkish intelligence service and the head of the Syrian National Security Office.

Speaking to Al Mayadeen, a Syrian source completely denied claims of an upcoming meeting in Baghdad between the head of the Turkish intelligence service, Hakan Fidan, and the head of the Syrian National Security Office, Major General Ali Mamlouk.
A Turkish newspaper had previously reported about an upcoming meeting between the two, in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.
The Turkish newspaper Turkeye quoted the former head of the Turkish Military Intelligence Department, Ismail Hakki, disclosing that the meeting between Hakki and Mamlouk will pave the way for new diplomatic relations between Turkey and Syria, detailing that many issues will be discussed including the Kurdish file in northern Syria.
