About 250,000 Palestinians celebrate Laylat Al-Qadr in Al-Aqsa
Palestinian worshipers flock to Al-Aqsa Mosque to celebrate the holy 27th night of the month of Ramadan despite tightened Israeli restrictions.
The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Al-Quds indicated Wednesday that about 250,000 worshipers are celebrating the 27th night of the month of Ramadan - known as Laylat Al-Qadr - in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Tens of thousands of Palestinians from the West Bank and the occupied interior are heading to occupied Al-Quds to reach Al-Aqsa Mosque to celebrate the holy night.

More than 150 buses loaded with hundreds of Palestinians departed from Al-Nasirah, Tamra, Umm Al-Fahm, Al-Naqab, and other occupied cities. Thousands of Palestinian citizens flocked to the Qalandia checkpoint, north of Al-Quds in an attempt to reach Al-Aqsa.

The Israeli occupation's measures and deliberate restrictions imposed on the citizens caused a major crisis at the Qalandia and Bayt Lahm checkpoints and prevented large numbers of citizens from entering Al-Quds.
The occupation only allows Palestinian men over 60-years-old and women of all ages to enter Al-Quds, prevents men under 40 from entering, and requires special hard-to-get entry permits for those between 40 and 50.

Throughout the past week, the Israeli occupation forces attacked Palestinians stationed in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and fired rubber bullets at them, causing injuries among young men and journalists.
It is noteworthy that thousands of Palestinians participated in mass rallies in all cities of the Gaza Strip in support of Al-Quds and condemned the IOF attacks on worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Palestinian factions called on the Palestinian people to revolt in defense of Al-Aqsa and in support of the Palestinians stationed in the courtyards of the Mosque who were subjected to Israeli violence and oppression.
