The official in charge of the Israeli liaison office in Rabat, David Govrin, left Morocco on Wednesday, returning to occupied Palestine following demonstrations that swept the Moroccan capital denouncing al-Maamadani (Baptist) Hospital massacre committed by the occupation in the Gaza Strip.

Sources explained to the Moroccan Hespress that all employees of the Israeli liaison office in Rabat also left for "Israel" after freezing all their consular and diplomatic operations.

The political bureau of the Moroccan Democratic Left Federal Party denounced the horrific massacres committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people in Gaza through a genocidal war, which reached its ugliest point after bombing Baptist Hospital.

Moroccans took to the streets in a million-man demonstration on Sunday, rejecting normalization and supporting Palestine in Rabat. During the demonstration, the Moroccans demanded the closure of the Zionist liaison office in Rabat.

In turn, the Moroccan Authority for Supporting the Ummah's Issues condemned the Baptist Hospital massacre, stressing that the hands of the West and the Americans are stained with Palestinian blood and that the Arab regimes are partners and must bear the responsibility and shame of normalization, as well as that of neglecting Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The organization indicated in a statement that "the Moroccan regime, as head of the Al-Quds Committee, has no choice but to expel the representative of the Zionist entity immediately and close the building of shame."

The Authority then called on the Moroccan people to mobilize themselves until the aggression is stopped and the war criminals are punished. It also urged them to take to the streets intensively and spontaneously and express their condemnation of war crimes and the shedding of Palestinian blood. It also called on them to go out in massive demonstrations on the Second Friday of Rage in solidarity with the people of Gaza and in rejection of normalization.

For its part, the Progress and Socialism Party condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli massacre and called on the Moroccan people to increase the forms and pace of their solidarity and support for the steadfast Palestinian people in order to stop this dirty war.

The Party called for closing the Israeli Liaison Office in Rabat while calling for action to be taken quickly and at the highest levels. It also urged "taking the necessary and firm stances to deter the cowardly and treacherous Zionist enemy and stop the genocidal war against which our brothers and sisters in Gaza and Palestine are being subjected."

The political office of the Democratic Labor Party also condemned this massacre and genocide, calling for people to take to the streets and squares in various cities and regions to denounce this heinous crime, express solidarity with the Palestinian people, and demand immediate cancellation of the treasonous normalization agreement with the Israeli occupation, and the closure of the Israeli Liaison Office in Rabat, as well as expelling its president.
