IRGC Commander Hossein Salami extends his condolences to Haniyeh following the martyrdom of his sons and grandchildren in an Israeli air strike.
Israeli aggression against civilians reflects "Israel's" defeat in the face of the patience and historic resilience of the people of Gaza, Major General Hossein Salami, the Commander-in-Chief of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said.
In a condolence message to the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, following the martyrdom of three of his sons and four of his grandchildren in an Israeli air strike, Salami said that "these sufferings and bloodshed will shape the future of the Palestinian people, their cause, and their freedom."
Undoubtedly, the steadfastness and will of the Palestinian people shall not be affected by such crimes, he underlined.
Salami stressed that "Hamas, with its steadfastness and pride, supported by the Resistance Front, will continue its great struggle against the Zionist enemy."
Earlier on Wednesday, the Hamas movement confirmed that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has extended his condolences to Haniyeh over the martyrdom of his sons and grandchildren at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces.
"His excellency, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, has contacted Ismail Haniyeh, the chairman of Hamas' political office, having expressed condolences over the martyrdom of his children and grandchildren from the treacherous Zionist [Israeli] shelling," Hamas said in a statement on Telegram.
