The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades reported that its fighters detected an Israeli special force in the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank. They confronted the force with gunfire and explosive devices, trapping them in an ambush inside the camp, causing immediate casualties.

The Brigades said, in a brief statement, that its fighters carried out “fierce confrontations with the IOF using machine guns and explosive devices on the al-Hamam roundabout,” in addition to targeting an Israeli military vehicle with a highly explosive device on Nazareth Street.

It revealed that occupation helicopters and ambulances came to transport casualties among its forces, stressing that its fighters are still engaged in fierce confrontations with the Israeli soldiers and military vehicles from several fronts, using machine guns and explosive devices in the Jenin camp. That said, local Palestinian media reported that the occupation forces were using drones to target Palestinians in the city and its camp.

Palestinian media sources also confirmed that an occupation army vehicle was targeted with a high-explosive device on al-Askari Street in the city.

In light of the ongoing Israeli raid into the camp, sources reported to Al Mayadeen that there were three injuries as a result of occupation bullets.

The sources indicated that the occupation forces fired at ambulances, blocked their way, and impeded their access to the Jenin camp. Furthermore, they deployed military reinforcements to bolster their invading troops, coinciding with heightened aerial activity over the city.

Concurrently, confrontations broke out with the Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening following their raid into the town of Turmus 'Ayya and the Jalazone camp, situated north of Ramallah.

The occupation forces also stormed the Qabr Hilwah Bridge area, east of the city of Beit Lahm, detained several Palestinians, and searched their vehicles. In the city itself, several citizens suffered from suffocation during confrontations with the occupation forces in the town of Taqou.

In a related context, settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, assaulted civilians in the village of Duma, situated south of Nablus, and fired live ammunition at them.

The occupation forces continue to carry out extensive raids during detention operations, subjecting detainees to severe beatings and threats against them and their families. Furthermore, the Israeli forces are engaging in widespread sabotage and destruction of homes.

The Israeli occupation is escalating its aggression against the West Bank, in conjunction with its ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip, which has been ongoing for 137 days.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli military has issued a warning of potential explosions in the West Bank during the holy month of Ramadan, amidst escalating confrontations between Palestinian resistance fighters and the occupation forces in its cities.
