Al-Houthi: US must end war on Gaza, siege to safeguard prestige, ships
Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen, asserts that the Yemeni Armed Forces will continue to conduct operations in support of Occupied Palestine.
Member of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, said on Saturday that the US must bring the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip to an end and lift the blockade if it wishes to maintain its maritime reputation and standing.
This statement was made during an armed tribal gathering north of the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, in a show of support for the resilience of the Palestinian Resistance and its people and to reaffirm support for the operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces in support of Gaza.
Al-Houthi stated during the tribal gathering that "All that has been mobilized by the US, and all the battles it has overseen, as well as the planes and missiles it has used to bombard Yemen, have by no means deterred us from confronting it continuously."
He called on Washington to redirect its efforts toward ending the Israeli occupation's aggression against Gaza and the West Bank and lifting the blockade.
In turn, the tribes declared their complete readiness to partake in the battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad alongside the Yemeni Armed Forces in support of the Palestinian people and the al-Aqsa Mosque. In that context, al-Houthi emphasized the significance of preparedness and readiness to counter any escalation from the adversary.
Sanaa warns against chaotic US-UK threats
In this context, Sanaa disclosed its engagement in political and diplomatic discussions to clarify Yemen's stance regarding maritime freedom and issued a warning noting the seriousness of US and UK threats showing a clear intention of instigating turmoil.
The member of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Abdul Malik al-Ajri, emphasized that the diplomatic and political efforts of the Government of Sanaa and the national delegation "are in the context of explaining Yemen's position on freedom of navigation and the safety of world trade."

It also comes in the context of "warning of the seriousness of the unequivocal threats by the US and the UK and Northern Ireland to sabotage the political process and rekindle the war in Yemen, and create chaos that threatens navigation and global trade to escape the entitlements of stopping the hostile war on Gaza", al-Ajri stressed.
It is the US, UK, and "Israel" have insisted on undertaking uncalculated measures, al-Ajri added before stressing that Yemen "confirmed from day one that it had no desire to expand the conflict," and that "its efforts to support Gaza are in the context of international and regional pressure on Israel."
Abdul Malik al-Ajri emphasized that the entire world is cautious about the consequences of "Israel's" erratic behavior, including the United Nations, the Arab League, China, Russia, and regional countries. However, Washington has obstinately stood against international and regional desires.
The Yemeni official then added that the United States has chosen to move in the opposite direction of international and regional aspirations, opting for military escalation and a power-centric policy, which has proven to be ineffective in addressing the crisis and restoring stability, instead of exerting pressure to prevent a wider regional conflagration and prioritizing political solutions.
