Abdul-Salam said the talks focused on the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza, as well as the necessity of intensifying international efforts to pressure Washington and "Israel" to stop the war.
Furthermore, the spokesperson confirmed to Bogdanov Sanaa's unwavering decision to take action in support of Gaza.
"[Sanaa's] position in support of Gaza, and the aggression carried out by the Americans and British on Yemen in support of Israel, was clarified," the X post read, adding that "it is more appropriate for the United States to stop the aggression on the Gaza Strip and allow the entry of humanitarian aid rather than militarize the Red Sea."

Finally, Abdul Salam said the talks also touched upon the latest developments in the "negotiations and discussions with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, mediated by the friendly country of Sultanate of Oman, regarding the Yemeni political process..."
Commenting earlier on the US and UK attacks on Yemen, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, stated that the aggression was "a new attempt to deter Yemen from supporting Gaza."
He stressed that the goal of stopping Yemen's maritime operations "will not be achieved," emphasizing that "the American and British should understand that we are in an era of which we will respond to attacks, and our people do not know surrender."
