Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, a prominent political figure in Yemen and a member of the Supreme Political Council, has articulated a profound sentiment regarding the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah.
In his remarks, al-Houthi emphasized that Sayyed Nasrallah's death represents a significant loss that extends beyond Hezbollah, resonating throughout the entire Arab and Islamic world.
Speaking at a memorial event organized by the Ansar Allah movement in Sanaa on Saturday, al-Houthi emphasized Nasrallah's significant influence in the region and commended his courage in taking firm stances, which he noted are "rarely found in other leaders."
He added that "the loss of martyr Sayyed Nasrallah is not just a loss for Lebanon, but for the free world that appreciated his courageous voice and steadfast positions."
In a recent statement for Al Mayadeen, Fadl Abu Talib, the Secretary-General of the Political Bureau of the Ansar Allah Movement, commended the contributions of martyr Sayyed Nasrallah in defending the Yemeni people amid ongoing aggression.
Describing Nasrallah's positions as "great stances," Abu Talib emphasized the leader's unwavering commitment to Yemen's sovereignty in the face of US, UK, and Saudi military actions.
He highlighted how Nasrallah's efforts were not merely political but also humanitarian, countering a suffocating blockade intended to undermine and control the Yemeni populace.
Abu Talib noted that "martyr Sayyed Nasrallah was a strong voice in conveying the plight of the Yemeni people to the Arab and Islamic nations."
He highlighted that "his support for Yemen was evident in both political and media stances, mobilizing public opinion to defend the Yemeni cause as if he were one of its people."
It is worth noting that the memorial event in Sanaa witnessed significant attendance from members of the Political Bureau of Ansar Allah, who reaffirmed the historic role of the martyr Nasrallah in supporting the causes of the nation.
Additionally, the Supreme Committee for Supporting Al-Aqsa in Yemen has called for a million-person march this coming Monday under the banner "Flood Towards Liberation" in the capital Sanaa, and across Yemeni provinces, in solidarity with the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples and to commemorate the anniversary of Operation al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, 2023.
