Al-Mashat: Yemeni missiles can strike any area in aggression countries
The President of the Supreme Political Council highlights Yemen's missile capabilities and advancements, including pharmaceutical production, during a recent address.
The President of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen, Mahdi al-Mashat, affirmed that Yemen's missile arsenal is now "capable of striking any target in any city within the countries of the aggression (Saudi-led) coalition from [any point] in Yemen."
During an extensive meeting held today to launch the general agricultural policy for the Tihamah Valley in the coastal province of Hodeidah in western Yemen, al-Mashat stated, "Last year, we announced from the exhibition platform that in the Navy, we possess the weapons that enable us to strike any point in the sea from any location in Yemen."
Al-Mashat emphasized that "this message served as a deterrence to the [Saudi-US-led] forces, and now I convey the following message to them regarding land-based capabilities: It appears that you need to experience our missile force, which can hit any target in any city within the countries of aggression from any location in Yemen, not from a specific region."

He pointed out that "these great achievements are in the context of dedication, seriousness, and [diligent] work, which should also be realized on the administrative [level], requiring everyone to act with the same enthusiasm." He added that these military achievements are a source of pride and honor for all Yemenis.
Al-Mashat also revealed that Yemen now produces 1,818 unique medications, a huge surge since 2017 as it was only able to produce 38 types at that time.
The top Yemeni official also announced the inauguration of a solar power farm that is capable of outputing 20 megawatts at its first stage.
On September 8, the Eighth Brigade of the Presidential Protection, affiliated with the Ministry of Defense in Sanaa, carried out a maneuver dubbed "The Birth of Light" in conjunction with preparations for the Prophet's birth anniversary and the anniversary of the September 21 revolution.
According to Yemen's SABA news agency, the maneuver simulated an attack on enemy positions. A tactical team from the Eighth Presidential Protection Brigade stealthily infiltrated these positions, while armored vehicles, artillery, and machine guns continuously unleashed live ammunition, effectively neutralizing the virtual enemy forces and their installations.
Earlier on September 5, al-Mashat stressed that the war with the Saudi-led coalition "is still ongoing," calling on everyone to maintain high readiness, including the army, security, and local tribes.
He pointed out that the current status quo should be taken advantage of to achieve deterrence through Sanaa's missiles and drones in order to achieve sovereignty, promising "heartwarming news" in the coming days.
