Hamdeen Sabahi: Israeli ban reflects Al Mayadeen on the right path
The Secretary-General of the Arab National Conference says Gaza is the most important cause for the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon.
The Secretary-General of the Arab National Conference, Hamdeen Sabahi, affirmed to Al Mayadeen the Egyptian people's eagerness to bring medicine and food into the besieged Gaza Strip, calling on Arab leaders to provide them with protection and open the Rafah crossing.
Sabahi emphasized that what is required from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi is to "declare that Gaza is a red line" that shall not be crossed.
He underscored that those who gathered at the emergency Arab summit "did not meet the aspirations of the Arab peoples," stressing that if Arab leaders use oil and gas as a weapon, the war on Gaza would stop.
Sabahi mentioned that Gaza is the most important cause for the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon and Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. He also expressed full trust in Sayyed Nasrallah and the Islamic Resistance who have succeeded in all challenges they have faced.
Touching on the Israeli occupation's Cabinet decision to ban Al Mayadeen and all of its outlets, from its websites to its social media accounts, in the occupied Palestinian territories, Sabahi described Al Mayadeen as one of the heavy weapons of the Arab and Palestinian people, adding that the occupation's decision is evidence that the network "is on the right path."

Earlier, the Israeli occupation war cabinet approved regulations that would allow the occupation government to ban and shut down Al Mayadeen Media Network, which comprises a foreign channel as per the emergency regulations descriptions and broadcasts in "Israel" in three languages: Arabic, English, and Spanish.
The occupation's war cabinet has issued an order to block Al Mayadeen's online operations in occupied Palestine as well, and an order to seize its broadcasting equipment will be issued later today.
According to the decision, Al Mayadeen is said to "harm national security."
The decision, which also included banning all websites that could serve as a medium for Al Mayadeen, addressed all Internet service providers to prevent all users of the services from accessing the following websites "that were found, after examination by the Ministry of Information, to be Internet sites through which Al Mayadeen channel broadcasts."
A few days ago, Israeli media reported that all the occupation’s security agencies, including Mossad, the Shin Bet, the Israeli military and others, “made a recommendation to stop broadcasting Al Mayadeen” inside the occupied territories.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in occupied Al-Quds, Hanaa Mahameed, has recently faced a renewed campaign of incitement amid personal and direct threats against her.
#AlMayadeen's correspondent in occupied #AlQuds, Hanaa Mahameed, was lured into a post office branch and ambushed by a group of Israeli far-right journalists and a channel 12 correspondent, where she was surrounded and accused of publishing fake news about the IOF's practices.… pic.twitter.com/ZEy4nMrzT9

In a related development, the Israeli Channel 12 correspondent and a group of extremist settlers ambushed our colleague Mahameed and harassed her in a thug-like manner.
Mahameed recounted the incident to Al Mayadeen, confirming that she was pursued by a group of journalists and settlers who went as far as preventing her from using her vehicle and making explicit threats against her after luring her into receiving a postal envelope.
