Al-Nakhalah, Sayyed Nasrallah meet, discuss opportunities, challenges
Ziyad al-Nakhalah, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement Secretary-General, meets his Hezbollah counterpart Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and discusses opportunities of the Axis of Resistance at present.
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, received the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement (PIJ), Ziyad al-Nakhala, and his deputy, Mohammad al-Hindi.
Sayyed Nasrallah reviewed with al-Nakhala and al-Hindi the latest developments in occupied Palestine, Lebanon, and the region, and conducted an evaluation of the events, threats, and opportunities available to the Axis of Resistance at present.
Earlier, on Saturday, Sayyed Nasrallah had received an official delegation from the Foreign Policy and Security Committee of the Islamic Consultative Council of Iran, headed by the committee official, Wahid Jalalzadeh, and a number of deputies in this committee, in the presence of the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani.
The delegation and the Secretary-General also discussed the latest developments in Lebanon, Palestine, and across the region.
Nasrallah & PIJ's al-Nakhalah discuss coordination against 'Israel'
Earlier in March, Sayyed Nasrallah received a PIJ delegation headed by al-Nakhalah where they discussed the situation in the region and the challenges facing the Palestinian Resistance.
Both Sayyed Nasrallah and al-Nakhalah underlined the continuation of bilateral consultation and coordination in a way that bolsters the resistance in the face of the Israeli occupation.
Moreover, they voiced their appreciation for the heroism of the Palestinian people, as well as that of the brave fighters who have been "bravely confronting the Israeli occupation's gangs and criminal army on Palestinian territories, especially in Al-Quds and the West Bank."
All of the developments taking place in the West Bank and the Palestinian interior are highly important in the struggle of resistance, Sayyed Nasrallah said last week, stressing that "the turning point for the Israeli occupation today is that there is a prevailing culture similar to what happened during the forced May 25th withdrawal from southern Lebanon."
"Today, the priority should be extending a helping hand to the Palestinian fighters pushing [the Israeli occupation] into the abyss," he underlined.
