In response, the PIJ chief expressed gratitude for the Arab and Islamic efforts in the course of stopping the Israeli crimes, affirming the "readiness of the Resistance factions to continue fighting against the Israeli enemy to protect the Palestinian people."
During his meeting with President Vladimir Putin, Raisi stressed that the events unfolding in Palestine and Gaza constitute "genocide and a crime against humanity," underscoring the "necessity to stop the Israeli bombing on Gaza as soon as possible."
"This issue is not only a matter of our region, it is a matter of all mankind. Therefore, it is necessary to find a very quick solution to this issue," Raisi said.
The Israeli war on hospitals ongoing
In its latest report, the Palestinian Health Ministry revealed that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on Gaza has risen to 17,487 martyrs, over 70% of which are children and women, with 56,400 citizens injured with various injuries since the launch of the Israeli war on October 7.
The Ministry added that in the past hours of Friday, over 300 Palestinians were martyred and 600 others injured due to the Israeli bombing of various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Commenting on the inhumane conditions caused by the Israeli occupation entity, the Ministry described the ongoing situation as catastrophic, with hospitals in the central and northern Gaza Strip unable to accommodate more injuries.

Israeli occupation forces are besieging the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, the Ministry warned. This situation has resulted in food and water shortages affecting the wounded and the displaced taking shelter in the hospital, as well as the medical staff.
Meanwhile, Israeli snipers took over the buildings surrounding Kamal Adwan Hospital and are continuously shooting toward its courtyards and patients' rooms.
Amid these disastrous conditions, the Health Ministry appealed to all parties to protect the civilians in Kamal Adwan Hospital and to provide water, food, and treatment for the wounded and sick.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry called on all workers and whoever is involved in the health sector to establish medical points and mobile clinics in the western areas of Khan Younis and Rafah. This is to provide healthcare to the displaced, who are unable to access health services due to their current circumstances.
