Israeli war on Gaza health sector ongoing, more hospitals under siege
The Israeli occupation army has killed over 17,400 Palestinians in Gaza since the start of the war on the Strip, including over 70% children and women.
Tens of Palestinian civilians were martyred on Friday in a number of Israeli massacres committed against families across Gaza, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.
In its latest report, the Palestinian Health Ministry revealed that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on Gaza has risen to 17,487 martyrs, over 70% of which are children and women, with 56,400 citizens injured with various injuries since the launch of the Israeli war on October 7.
The Ministry added that in the past hours of Friday, over 300 Palestinians were martyred and 600 others injured due to the Israeli bombing of various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Catastrophic health situation
Commenting on the inhumane conditions caused by the Israeli occupation entity, the Ministry described the ongoing situation as catastrophic, with hospitals in the central and northern Gaza Strip unable to accommodate more injuries.
Israeli occupation forces are besieging the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, the Ministry warned. This situation has resulted in food and water shortages affecting the wounded and the displaced taking shelter in the hospital, as well as the medical staff.

Meanwhile, Israeli snipers took over the buildings surrounding Kamal Adwan Hospital and are continuously shooting toward its courtyards and patients' rooms.
Amid these disastrous conditions, the Health Ministry appealed to all parties to protect the civilians in Kamal Adwan Hospital and to provide water, food, and treatment for the wounded and sick.

On his part, the Director of Emergency Services at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, Dr. Khalil al-Degran, told Al Mayadeen that 31 martyrs, mostly children and women, arrived at the hospital today.
He highlighted that the hospital's premises is completely full, with many injured civilians lying on the floors in the inside corridors and outside courtyards, amid a severe outbreak of infections and diseases.

Pointing out to the tragic situation, al-Degran added that the hospital is unable to provide a large number of people with serious injuries with the necessary medical attention, leading to the martyrdom of many of them.
He appealed to the world to keep the border crossings open and to send medical supplies in to save the thousands injured.
"In addition to the medical crises, there is difficulty in communicating with ambulance crews, putting those trapped under the rubble at risk of death," he said.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry called on all workers and whoever is involved in the health sector to establish medical points and mobile clinics in the western areas of Khan Younis and Rafah. This is to provide healthcare to the displaced, who are unable to access health services due to their current circumstances.

This comes as the Ministry reported that Al-Shifa Complex is currently treating 170 different medical cases, while the medical teams were forced to deal with these cases using primitive methods due to the lack of necessary medical resources.
Sending them to their death
Jabalia Refugee Camp saw continued Israeli aggression against displaced civilians, where Israeli forces surrounded a school sheltering tens of thousands of people on Abu Zaitoun Street, east of the camp, and opened fire on it. The occupation forces also conducted a series of airstrikes on civilian homes in Joudi Street and the Sika area in the camp.
Additionally, our correspondent also noted that Israeli soldiers are forcefully displacing more people toward the western areas of northern Gaza.
An eyewitness told Al Mayadeen's correspondent that hundreds of Palestinians detained by the Israeli occupation forces in northern Gaza were subjected to inhumane and cruel measures. A significant number of them were purposefully released, after being humiliated and tortured, in areas that are being bombarded. In other words, they were sending them to their possible death.
Ethnic and cultural cleansing
In al-Nuseirat Refugee Camp in central Gaza, 18 people were martyred in two separate Israeli attacks, 5 in a strike on their home and 13 in a bombardment of a building sheltering displaced people.
Furthermore, over 20 people were martyred in an airstrike targeting the Nassar family home, west of the refugee camp.
Our correspondent in Gaza reported that Israeli warplanes continue to conduct violent strikes on central and eastern Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, while Israeli artillery renewed its shelling of eastern neighborhoods in Khan Younis. So far, three Palestinians have been martyred in a strike on their home in the governorate.

Additionally, an Israeli strike targeting a home in al-Bassa in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, killed and injured several.
As part of their ongoing criminal campaign to wipe out historic and cultural monuments in the Strip, Israeli aircraft also destroyed large parts of the iconic al-Omari Mosque in the old town of Gaza City.
Moreover, several Palestinians were killed and injured in the bombing of Abdul Karim al-Shaer Mosque in the Qizan an-Najjar area in Khan Younis.
Resistance continues across Gaza axes
Fierce confrontations took place between Resistance fighters and Israeli invading forces in the areas of Sheikh Nasser, Bani Suhaila, and the station in Khan Younis, amid heavy Israeli shelling.
Significantly, almost 6 weeks into the start of the invasion, al-Shujaiya neighborhood remains a difficult axis for Israeli occupation forces, recording very limited advancements throughout the period due to the fierce and sophisticated Resistance defense lines and operations.
