Palestinian Resistance fighters cost the Israeli occupation's military heavy losses on Thursday, in Khan Younis and Gaza City.

Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades said that its fighters who had returned from the frontlines, confirmed that they targeted an enemy force with a thermobaric shell, killing five members of the force, in the city of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Another group of fighters said that they ambushed a large force, of 30 Israeli infantry troops, in Bani Suheila.

"Our fighters confirmed the detonation of a pre-rigged building using several explosive devices," al-Qassam's Military Media said on Telegram, adding that 30 soldiers were lured into the building just before the building was completely blown up.

To the east of Khan Younis, in the town of Aabsan, al-Qassam fighters targeted two Merkava tanks and a D-9 armored bulldozer with locally produced al-Yassin rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs).

The Brigades also confirmed that its fighters confronted occupation forces to the east of the al-Tuffah neighborhood, located in Gaza City, in the northern Gaza Strip.

Resistance fighters also confronted occupation forces near the Eastern Cemetry in Jabalia. The most prominent of the Resistance's operations in this axis was the targeting of 12 Israeli infantry troops, in which four soldiers were killed from point-blank range. Fighters from al-Mujahideen Brigades and al-Quds Brigades also engaged occupation forces in eastern Jabalia.

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine's (DFLP) National Resistance Brigades engaged in fierce confrontations with occupation forces in the Baten al-Samin area, in Khan Younis. National Resistance fighters also engage occupation forces in the northern Gaza Strip, near al-Mukhabarat neighborhood, killing several occupation soldiers.

The Resistance continues to fend off occupation forces in Khan Younis in towns in the southern Gaza Strip, where Israeli forces have marked little to no advances, in areas such as Khuzaa. Although occupation forces withdrew from Jabalia and other areas in the northern Gaza Strip they have recently renewed attacks on areas such as Jabalia and al-Tuffah neighborhood. However, such attacks have been detrimental to infantry forces.
