Al-Qassam Brigades assume responsibility for al-Quds double operation
The military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement claims responsibility for the vehicle ramming-shooting operation that took place in occupied al-Quds.
The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement, assumed responsibility for the double operation that took place earlier on Thursday in occupied al-Quds.
The Resistance movement mourned the men who carried out the operation, brothers Mourad, 38, and Ibrahim al-Nimr, 30, from Sur Baher, southern al-Quds.
Israeli media reported earlier this morning that three settlers were killed and several were injured in a double shooting and ramming operation in the settlement of "Ramot" in occupied al-Quds.
"This heroic operation comes in response to the occupation's crimes against the children and women of Gaza and the occupied [West] Bank, as well as their desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque among other sanctities," a statement issued by the al-Qassam Brigades read.
"It is also a clear warning against the violations committed by [Israeli Police Minister Itamar] Ben Gvir and his mob against our prisoners in the occupation's prisons," the statement added.

Israeli media reported that the two Palestinians who conducted the operation in al-Quds arrived by car at the bus station and opened fire at the settlers there.
The Israeli police commander in al-Quds reported that the Palestinians who conducted the operation were killed.
The Israeli army radio reported that preliminary investigations indicate that the operation was bipartite involving both a ramming and a shooting.
Shortly after the shooting operation, Israeli occupation forces deployed units to the site.

Channel 12 reported that this is "the fourth and most deadly operation we have witnessed in Jerusalem [Al-Quds] since the start of the war in Gaza."
Despite the large Israeli police presence, in addition to armed settlers, the threat of Resistance operations remains grave, a Channel 12 correspondent reported, noting a recent uptick in Resistance operations.
Additionally, the military correspondent for Yedioth Ahronoth said, "The circumstances of the Jerusalem operation and the weapons used indicate that there was prior planning for its execution."
