Al-Qassam Brigades foils Israeli beach landing in Rafah, South of Gaza
Al-Qassam Brigades says that its fighters have confronted and turned an Israeli force that attempted to land on Rafah's beach.
Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas's military wing, revealed that its fighters thwarted an Israeli occupation forces attempt at a beach landing in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip on Friday dawn.
A statement released by the Brigades' military media revealed that its fighters were able to "discover the attempt" and confront the invading force.
Moreover, the Israeli occupation forces had to call in airstrikes to secure their escape from Rafah's beach. Al-Qassam Brigades said that the invading force left behind ammunition that had been unloaded during the failed attempt.
Zikim landing twice successful
In stark contrast, on October 24, the Brigades announced that a group of its Frogmen were able to infiltrate "Zikim" north of the Gaza Strip and "clash" with Israeli occupation forces.
The Frogmen is a special force of the Brigades and consists of combat divers that swim underwater behind enemy lines toward their objectives.
It is worth noting that this is at least the second time since October 7, that Resistance fighters successfully landed on "Zikim's" beach and engaged occupation forces, dealing them heavy casualties.
Israeli Channel 13, said that the operation was the most significant event since "Black Saturday."
A spokesperson of the Israeli occupation forces said the operation was completed after Resistance fighters moved through a tunnel toward the Gaza Strip's shore from which they then swam toward "Zikim".

Gaza's maze: A horror movie for IOF soldiers
The failed Israeli landing highlights just how complex an invasion of the Gaza Strip would be, as the occupation forces also suffered casualties when they infiltrated the separation fence east of Khan Yunis.
On Sunday, Al-Qassam stated, "Al-Qassam freedom fighters lured an armored Zionist force into a tight ambush east of Khan Yunis after infiltrating the fence and advancing several meters." The statement added that the freedom fighters engaged the invading force, and destroyed two armored bulldozers and a tank, forcing the troops to withdraw on foot.
"Our freedom fighters confirm that the Israeli soldiers who were lured into the Khan Yunis ambush left their vehicles and fled east of the fence - that shall be uprooted once day - on foot."
The Israeli occupation admitted that there were casualties among its soldiers in the ambush, saying one soldier was killed and three others were injured, as per the IOF spokesperson.
Both of the attempts came at the peripheries of the Gaza Strip, which indicates that the IOF has yet to experience Gaza's fortified defenses within suburban areas and farmland.
