Al-Qassam Brigades liberate kidnapped Palestinians in military op.
In an unprecedented operation, the al-Qassam Brigades announced the successful liberation of kidnapped Palestinians in northern Gaza.
The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Monday that its fighters successfully liberated kidnapped Palestinians held by Israeli occupation forces during a military operation in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.
According to al-Qassam, its fighters "stabbed and killed three Zionist soldiers who were among a Zionist force on a mission to fortify a building." The brigades added that the fighters "stormed the house, killed all members of the Zionist force from point-blank range, seized their weapons, and freed several civilians who had been held captives by the occupation inside the house."
In the same context, an Israeli media outlet reported the "killing of two soldiers tonight in an explosion incident in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip," with further details to be released later.
Meanwhile, the al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees, released footage of a joint operation with the Martyr Omar al-Qassem Brigades, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, targeting an Israeli command and control site in the Netzarim Axis with heavy mortar shells.
Resistance conducts martyrdom operations in Gaza
Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, announced in a statement on Sunday evening that its fighters, in coordination with the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, targeted Israeli occupation forces and confirmed the capture of an Israeli reconnaissance drone north of the al-Nuseirat Refugee Camp in central Gaza.
The statement from the al-Quds Brigades further claimed that one of its resistance fighters infiltrated an Israeli armored personnel carrier and carried out a special operation, detonating a bomb inside it, as part of a martyrdom operation targeting soldiers at the entrance to the al-Return Towers in the Azbat Beit Hanoun area in northern Gaza.
This operation constituted the second operation of its kind, with the first having been conducted a couple of days ago by al-Qassam Brigades.
Before that, the al-Qassam Brigades announced the first-ever martyrdom operation, targeting Israeli occupation forces during the current and ongoing war on the Gaza Strip, on Friday of last week.
Hamas' military wing said one of its fighters conducted a "complex security operation," where the fighter secured a pathway to execute a one-of-a-kind attack on invading troops in the Jabalia refugee camp.
Such attacks have been excluded from the Resistance's tactics, whereby the majority of confrontations revolved around hit-and-run attacks and improvised explosive device (IED) ambushes. However, seeing that this is the third military campaign launched by occupation forces on Jabalia since the invasion ensued, al-Qassam's leadership has re-introduced martyrdom operations.
In detail, a fighter eliminated an Israeli sniper team in the camp, consisting of a sniper and a spotter, seizing their equipment and camouflage.
An hour after executing the initial attack, the fighter disguised himself in Israeli military attire before approaching a force, consisting of six troops. He later detonated an explosive belt he was wearing, resulting in casualties among the invading troops.
This operation follows a stabbing operation on Thursday conducted by the Brigades in the Jabalia refugee camp, where a fighter stabbed and killed an officer and three soldiers.
