Al-Qassam fighters also destroyed an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) using an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in the al-Elmi area in central Jabalia camp, northern Gaza.
Moreover, an Israeli officer was sniped in Abu al-Aysh street in central Jabalia camp.
The al-Qassam Brigades have been announcing major operations and complex security operations, particularly in Jabalia, northern Gaza, as the Israeli occupation forces focus their onslaught on the area.
Al-Qassam announces 'complex security operation' in Jabalia
On Friday, the al-Qassam Brigades announced the first-ever martyrdom operation targeting Israeli occupation forces during the current and ongoing war on the Gaza Strip.
Hamas' military wing said one of its fighters conducted a "complex security operation," where the fighter secured a pathway to execute a one-of-a-kind attack on invading troops in the Jabalia refugee camp.
In detail, a fighter eliminated an Israeli sniper team in the camp, consisting of a sniper and a spotter, seizing their equipment and camouflage.
An hour after executing the initial attack, the fighter disguised himself in Israeli military attire before approaching a force, consisting of six troops. He later detonated an explosive belt he was wearing, resulting in casualties among the invading troops.
