Israeli media reported a serious security incident in northern Gaza on Monday, where an explosion in Beit Hanoun left three Israeli soldiers injured.

According to reports, the soldiers were wounded by an explosive device that detonated during a military operation in the area. Rescue aircraft were dispatched to evacuate the injured personnel from the scene.

The incident occurred in Beit Hanoun, located in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, an area that has seen repeated confrontations throughout the ongoing war.

Israeli media confirmed that three soldiers sustained injuries from the blast.

Emergency response units reportedly arrived quickly, and the injured soldiers were evacuated for treatment via a military aircraft.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, published video footage of a military operation titled “Breaking the Sword.” The operation targeted Israeli forces near the separation fence east of Beit Hanoun.

The footage, shared shortly after news of the explosion, shows al-Qassam fighters engaging Israeli troops in the same area where the explosion occurred.

This marks a continuation of Hamas military operations targeting Israeli forces positioned along the border with Gaza. The group has increasingly publicized such operations as part of its strategic messaging.

On Sunday, the al-Qassam Brigades said that its Resistance fighters executed a complex ambush against Israeli occupation forces east of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza

In detail, al-Qassam stated that its fighters targeted an Israeli military Storm vehicle, used by the Combat Intelligence Battalion of the Gaza Division, with an anti-tank shell, inflicting confirmed casualties.

When Israeli reinforcements arrived for rescue, they were ambushed with an anti-personnel explosive, leaving troops dead and wounded.

The Al-Qassam also confirmed targeting a newly established Israeli military position in the ambush area with four RPG shells, followed by mortar fire, and the group’s military media released footage showing the attack on invading occupation vehicles near the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.
