Al-Quds Brigades launches intense salvo of rockets on occupied Asdoud
The Palestinian Resistance continues to target Israeli sites and occupied Palestinian cities in response to the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, launched Thursday an intense salvo of rockets on occupied Asdoud, as Israeli media reported that sirens were sounded in the city.
Earlier in the day, the spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, said that after 27 days of the war on Gaza, the Palestinian Resistance fighters continue to confront the Israeli occupation forces at numerous battlefronts.
Abu Obeida stated that the Resistance fighters managed to destroy almost an entire tank battalion within 48 hours and inflicted a significant number of casualties among the occupation soldiers.
This comes as Palestinian Resistance factions continue to launch rocket barrages toward Israeli sites and occupied Palestinian territories in response to the Israeli massacres committed against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
Abu Obeida's statement coincided with Al-Qassam Brigades announcing that its fighters carried out on Thursday that a counterattack in the northwestern front of the city of Gaza. Dozens of Al-Qassam resistance fighters confronted a heavily armored Israeli force and attacked it with various weapons.

Furthermore, the Resistance fighters destroyed six tanks, two armored personnel carriers, and a bulldozer. They also targeted Israeli occupation soldiers taking cover inside a building with a TBG shell and inflicted severe losses to the force, while all resistance fighters returned to their bases safely under the cover of mortar shells.
