The military spokesperson for Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, has affirmed that after 27 days of the war on Gaza, the Resistance fighters continue to stand their ground against the invading Israeli forces across the Strip's frontlines.

In a speech recording, Abu Obeida revealed that, in just the past 48 hours, al-Qassam's fighters destroyed almost an entire tank battalion and led to a substantial number of casualties among the Israeli occupation soldiers.

However, he further highlighted a more recent achievement, announcing that, in a counteroffensive in the northwestern region of Gaza City, the Resistance was able in the past few hours to destroy 6 tanks, two armored personnel carriers, and one military bulldozer.

On the Israeli losses, the spokesperson underscored that the occupation's leadership has been misleading Israeli settlers regarding the actual casualty figures, which are considerably higher than the official announcements.

“The occupation leadership lied to the Israelis about the death toll, which is much higher than what they are announcing.”

Abu Obeida asserted the Resistance's commitment to making Gaza a perpetual curse upon the Zionist entity, warning that invading forces would not make it out alive.

Moreover, he emphasized that the occupation's brutal massacres will not weaken the Resistance or its morale and will rather only fortify the resolve and strength of the Palestinian Resistance to exact a heavy price from the entity and its invading forces. Abu Obeida also praised the unwavering spirit of the people of Gaza and their resolute defense of their homeland.

Steady ground

Al-Qassam Brigades announced on Thursday targeting "Tel Aviv" and several other occupied regions with a rocket barrage in response to the ongoing Israeli massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli media reported that sirens were sounded in the central region as well as in "Hashfela" and Bir al-Sabe' following the rocket launches.

On the Gaza front, invading Israeli forces continue to face fierce resistance on all axes as fighters increase ambush operations and encirclement attacks, targeting and destroying military vehicles and tanks, as well as infantry gatherings and positions.

Al-Qassam Brigades stated that its fighters destroyed two Israeli tanks northwest of Gaza with al-Yassin 105 rockets and eliminated 3 Israeli soldiers at point-blank range, which was later confirmed by the Israeli occupation army.

In northern Gaza, the Resistance group launched mortar shells toward advancing Israeli military vehicles and a gathering of invading soldiers east of al-Zeitoun neighborhood.

Additionally, in the north, al-Qassam targeted a fortified Israeli infantry unit positioned in a building north of Beit Hanoun with a Thermobaric Rocket (TBG).

On its part, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's Al-Quds Brigades announced targeting Israeli forces advancing east of al-Amour, east of Khan Yunis, with mortar shells. The Resistance group also confirmed that its fighters are engaging in direct confrontations with Israeli occupation forces on multiple axes alongside other Resistance factions.

Earlier, Israeli occupation army chief Aviv Kochavi acknowledged the high cost and extreme pain of the ongoing war, stating, "We have lost our best fighters."

Addressing the rising Israeli death toll, The Washington Post reported on Wednesday that the number of Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza on Tuesday alone is a quarter of the entire death toll in the war on the Strip in 2014, which lasted for a month and a half.
