The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), issued a statement detailing their operations in the ongoing Operation Terror of the Camps, which has been raging in various cities and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank. This follows on the heels of a concentrated Israeli offensive targeting these areas.

The statement highlighted the fierce battles that have unfolded over recent days, describing them as part of the larger Operation al-Aqsa Flood, which is a broader struggle of the Palestinian people against the Israeli occupation.

According to the statement, the al-Quds Brigades - Tubas Battalion carried out five operations involving improvised explosive devices (IEDs) targeting Israeli soldiers and military vehicles.

Similarly, the Tulkarm Battalion executed six operations involving IEDs, which reportedly resulted in several Israeli casualties. Additionally, the Tulkarm Resistance fighters managed to ambush an Israeli patrol, successfully sniping a soldier during the ensuing confrontations.

The statement further detailed the activities of the Jenin Battalion, which claimed responsibility for over 15 explosive operations. These operations inflicted significant damage on Israeli forces, both in terms of personnel and equipment.

The Jenin fighters also set up three ambushes, one of which was described as a complex ambush designed to counter Israeli incursions.

The al-Quds Brigades asserted that the Resistance in the West Bank had entered a "new phase" of producing and deploying explosive devices, warning that the Israeli occupation would soon witness the impact of these advancements on the battlefield.

The statement emphasized that the steadfastness of the Palestinian fighters was crucial in the ongoing battle.

It underscored the importance of armed Resistance and military formations in defending Palestinian land and holy sites, stating that without such defenses, the Israeli forces would overrun their territories.

The PIJ military wing also mourned the loss of several fighters from both their ranks and other Palestinian Resistance factions', notably mentioning the martyrdom of Commander Mohammed Jaber, known by his nom du guerre Abu Shuja. They reaffirmed their commitment to continue the battle alongside other resistance groups until victory is achieved.

United front in the West Bank

The commander of the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in the West Bank, affirmed that the faction was working in unison with all Resistance forces in Operation Terror of the Camps just as they are doing in Operation al-Aqsa Flood in the Gaza Strip.

In statements published on the official Telegram channel of the al-Quds Brigades, the West Bank commander addressed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the leaders of the occupation, stating, "It is too late to quash the Resistance project in the West Bank."

He emphasized that "there are cells spread across all cities and camps, now operating under the formations of the al-Quds Brigades and the resistance." He further warned the occupation, saying, "We will see what will happen in the coming days with the soldiers and vehicles currently invading the cities of Jenin, Tubas, and Tulkarm."

The commander also highlighted that the martyrdom of Tulkarm Brigade commander Mohammad Jaber, known as Abu Shujaa, along with other resistance fighters, "will only stoke the flames of resistance." He pointed out that the number of people joining the resistance increases with each martyr.

He also touched on the recent joint martyrdom operation carried out by the al-Quds Brigades and the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, in Tel Aviv, describing it as "an important message that everyone should heed, particularly since this operation will not be the last."

"The blood of al-Quds Brigades fighters in the West Bank, Gaza, Damascus, and Lebanon today mixes to confirm that the battlefield is one and that victory and martyrdom are our unwavering choices," he concluded.
