Al-Quds Hospital refuses evacuation amid fear of a new massacre
The hospital's director, Bashar Murad, affirms that "Israel" threatened to bomb the hospital.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the medical staff of Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza refused to evacuate after the Palestinian Red Crescent released an 'urgent notice' warning that it received threats from "Israel" that it would bomb the hospital.
The hospital's director Bashar Murad affirmed that "Israel" threatened to bomb the hospital, stressing that around 12,000 forcibly displaced families took shelter in the hospital.
The Palestinian Red Crescent made a somber announcement last night, revealing that they had received chilling threats from the Israeli occupation authorities, demanding the immediate evacuation of Al-Quds Hospital. This facility, a haven for over 400 patients and approximately 12,000 displaced civilians, along with dedicated medical staff, now faces an uncertain fate.

In the face of these distressing circumstances, the global community is urged to take swift and decisive action to prevent the possibility of yet another tragic massacre within the hospital's walls, akin to the horrifying events that unfolded at Al-Ahli Hospital just days ago.
Salama Marouf, head of the government media office in the Gaza Strip, sounded a grave warning, drawing attention to the looming shadow of another Al-Ahli Hospital-like massacre. In that dreadful incident, countless lives, including innocent children, were lost.
On that note, the Israeli occupation forces persist in their aggression on the Gaza Strip for the fifteenth consecutive day, further targeting residential areas and facilities inhabited by civilians and perpetrating widespread acts of violence and massacres against Palestinian families.
In its latest report on Friday, the Palestinian Health Ministry revealed that the number of martyrs in Gaza has surpassed 4,100 with more than 13,000 wounded. This represents a catastrophic increase in the number of martyrs from 3,800 the day before.
Meanwhile, in the West Bank, the Ministry said that the total number of Palestinians martyred by Israeli bullets since October 7 rose to 81. Just between Thursday and Friday, Israeli occupation forces killed 13 Palestinians in Tulkarm's Nour Shams camp, five of whom were children.
