Lebanon's Amal Movement holds funeral procession for martyred fighters
During the funeral, Qabalan Qabalan, a member of the Development and Liberation parliamentary bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, affirmed that the Lebanese people have taken it upon themselves to confront and resist the Israeli aggression.
Lebanese Resistance Movement - Amal (from the acronym Afwaj al-Mouqawma Al-Lubnaniyya) held Sunday the funeral procession of its martyrs in Nabatieh; Ali Hassan Issa (Falah) from the southern village of Jibshit, born in 1971, Mohammad Hussein Saeed (Abu Maryam) from the town of Qsaybeh born in 1995, and Qasim Nizar Berro (Mustafa) from the town of al-Shurqiya, born in 1996; with massive popular participation.
Amal Movement’s three Resistance fighters were martyred while performing their duty in defense of Lebanon and the South, following a campaign of Israeli shelling on villages in South Lebanon two days ago.

Kobeissi highlighted that there is a plot against the Resistance, Gaza, and Palestine, clarifying, "We will persist in the course of Resistance and uphold our homeland, its boundaries, and our [country's] co-existence."
Elsewhere in his remarks, he stressed that the Amal Movement's sole intention is the prosperity of the nation, encouraging everyone to unite in support of Lebanon's well-being and to safeguard the state and its sovereignty.
Lebanon's Amal Movement vows steadfast resistance
On his part, Qabalan Qabalan, a member of the Development and Liberation parliamentary bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, told Al Mayadeen, that the consistent strategy of the Israeli enemy involves persistently targeting and killing civilians and carrying out massacres. However, he noted that the Lebanese people have taken it upon themselves to confront and resist this approach.
It is worth noting that the Resistance Movement and its members are actively defending Lebanon's borders and villages against the Israeli occupation since 1975.
Ali Dawoud was the first Resistance fighter from the movement to be martyred as part of the current battles between the Lebanese Resistance and the Israeli occupation forces on the borders of occupied Palestine on November 11, 2024.
On February 2, 2024, the Amal Movement mourned martyrs Mostafa Daher and Ali Mohammad who were killed in an Israeli strike on the town of Blida in southern Lebanon.
On February 5, 2024, the Movement announced the martyrdom of three of its Resistance fighters; Hussein Azzam, Jaafar Iskandar, and Hassan Skaykeh.
On February 11, it also mourned martyrs Mohammad al-Masri and Hassan Faroukh, who were killed in Israeli strikes while performing their duty in defense of Lebanon and the South.
At the time, the Arab Affairs correspondent for the Israeli Channel Kan, Roi Kais, commented on the martyrdom of al-Masri and Faroukh in southern Lebanon. Kais stated that the Lebanese movement is "increasingly involved" in the battles against "Israel", noting that 10 of its fighters were martyred since October 7, 2024.
