BREAKING
Sheikh Qassem: Our supporters make up more than half of Lebanon's population, and all of these people are united under the banner of protecting Lebanon, its Resistance, its people, and its integrity.
Sheikh Qassem: There will be no phased handing in of our arms. [The Israelis] must first enact the agreement before we start talking about a defensive strategy.
Sheikh Qassem: Be brave in the face of foreign pressures, and we will be by your side in this stance.
Sheikh Qassem: Stripping us of our arms is like stripping us of our very soul, and this will prompt us to show them our might.
Sheikh Qassem: We will not abandon our arms, for they gave us dignity; we will not abandon our arms, for they protect us against our enemy.
Sheikh Qassem: The US efforts we are seeing are aimed at sabotaging Lebanon and constitute a call for sedition.
Sheikh Qassem: If you truly want to establish sovereignty and work for Lebanon’s interests, then stop the aggression.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States, which is meddling in Lebanon, is not trustworthy but rather poses a danger to it.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States is preventing the weapons that protect the homeland.
Sheikh Qassem: The government’s latest decision [on the disarmament of the Resistance] is non-charter-based, and if the government continues down this path, it is not faithful to Lebanon’s sovereignty.

According to a new opinion poll by the Pew Research Center, young Americans have increasingly more favorable views of Palestinians than they do of Israelis amid the war on Gaza.

60% of Americans aged 18-29 had positive views of Palestinian people, while 46% preferred Israelis. On the other hand, 46% of young American adults see "Israel's" aggression on Gaza as unacceptable, compared to 21% who believed otherwise.

Young Americans have been at the forefront of mass protests across the US to protest President Joe Biden’s support for "Israel's" genocide campaign, which has now killed over 32,000 Palestinians.

A poll from The New York Times/Siena College back in December revealed that half of the American youth see "Israel" as intentionally killing civilians in Gaza.

Still, a Pew poll found that 48% of Americans were not aware of how many Palestinians have been killed after over 5 months have passed since the beginning of the war.

The 'bias' wars

US media coverage has played a major role in the lack of dissemination of the correct information, and when information is reported, it is often skewed. It is quite crucial as most young Americans and youth around the world resort to social media as their main source of information.

Earlier this month, the Centre for Media Monitoring (CfMM) published its most recent report titled "Media Bias Gaza 2023-24," unveiling notable biases in Western media reporting.

A total of 361 TV news clips were identified where the terms "beheaded" and "babies" coexisted. Nearly half of these occurrences were observed on the two right-wing British channels Talk TV (27%) and GB News (20%), while Sky News contributed to 14% of the mentioned terms. Out of the 361 instances, only 52 demonstrated any substantial challenge, rebuttal, or questioning of the claims.

Most TV channels strongly emphasize "Israel's right to defend itself," overshadowing Palestinian rights with a ratio of 5 to 1, a framing of events highlighted in the report.

In Europe, an analysis published by RFI demonstrates that news of the war on Gaza is slowly vanishing from large French media screens, particularly the daily 8 pm prime-time news bulletin on channels TF1, France 2, and M6, and the runtime given for the matter is shocking.

Recent research from the Muslim Council of Britain's Centre for Media Monitoring also reveals the UK media's systemic bias in favor of "Israel" while reporting on the war on Gaza, Declassified UK reported.
