Hamas: Israeli investigation into Flour Massacre biased, misleading
Hamas has affirmed that the Israeli occupation's investigation into the Flour Massacre in Gaza overlooks and sidelines the facts documented which revealed that Palestinian people were the direct targets of Israeli fire.
On Friday, March 8, the Hamas movement affirmed in a statement that the investigation presented by the Israeli occupation forces regarding the Flour Massacres at al-Nablusi Roundabout in the Gaza Strip is biased and misleading.
Hamas explained that the Israeli investigation overlooks clear and objective facts, as Palestinians were targeted directly by Israeli fire aimed at the upper parts of the body with a clear shoot-to-kill intention.
The statement pointed out that this is evident in the bodies of the martyrs, along with other evidence that confirms they were deliberately targeted by the gunfire of soldiers and tanks.
Hamas declared its rejection of this investigation into the massacre, which claimed the lives of 120 Palestinians. The statement noted that the crime received widespread international condemnation, prompting the occupation government to attempt to exonerate its soldiers.
The movement emphasized that this massacre will remain a "testament to the criminality and Nazi-like actions of this entity, devoid of human and ethical values until justice is served for our Palestinian people, and the leaders of the occupation and its soldiers are tried for the crimes and violations they committed."
PFLP rejects Israeli whitewashing
On its part, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) criticized the Israeli occupation's justifications for the Flour Massacre, dismissing them as "lies that fool no one."
The Front emphasized that the occupation army's admission to committing the massacre "is not strange for an army considered the most criminal, despicable, and filthy in the world," asserting that the justifications it provided for committing its horrific massacre against civilians are "sheer lies that fool no one."
The Front further highlighted the occupation's habit of fabricating narratives to mask its crimes, leveraging American support and the absence of international deterrent actions.
In its statement, the PFLP also stressed that media outlets, "including the American newspaper The New York Times, known for its pro-Israeli stances, have refuted the occupation army's narratives about the Flour Massacre and revealed the occupation's manipulation of the photos and videos it published about the massacre, attempting to shift the blame from itself and escape this crime."
The Front emphasized, "The occupation army's perpetration of this massacre against unarmed and starving civilians, who pose no threat to the hiding occupation soldiers like mice inside their tanks and vehicles in the area, confirms that there is a premeditated intention to commit a massacre against civilians as part of its vengeful policies against our people and to expand the war of starvation against them, and to compensate for its human losses suffered in the battlefield." This is supported by its repeated targeting of hungry civilians and aid convoys.
The Front concluded its statement with a firm declaration, stating, "Our people will neither forget nor forgive this criminal Zionist entity for these heinous massacres, and the blood of the starving civilian martyrs will remain a curse that will haunt this defeated army and its cowardly leaders everywhere."
