Amir-Abdollahian, Haniyeh discuss Gaza developments over the phone
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, discuss the latest developments concerning the Israeli aggression on Gaza over the phone.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and head of the Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, discussed the latest developments in the situation in occupied Palestine and Gaza during a phone call today, Friday.
Amir-Abdollahian confirmed that the world has become fully aware that the head of the occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, “has reached the end and is making his last moves in order to survive.”
He added during the call that the Israeli occupation entity is "embroiled in the Gaza quagmire," emphasizing that this was achieved thanks to the steadfastness of the people and the Resistance in Gaza.
For his part, Haniyeh stated that the occupation is obstructing the prisoner-captive exchange agreement and the cessation of genocide in Gaza. He emphasized that the humanitarian situation has become dire in the northern Gaza Strip.
Haniyeh called on the international community to immediately assist the residents of Gaza, as Israeli aggression enters its 168th day.
'Israel' sabotaging prisoner-captive exchange talks
Earlier this week, Haniyeh revealed that "Israel" is sabotaging mediated talks with the Palestinian Resistance in Doha.
"The actions of the Zionist occupation forces at Al-Shifa Medical Complex confirm their intent to obstruct the recovery of life in Gaza and dismantle essential aspects of human existence," Haniyeh stated in reference to an ongoing Israeli attack on Gaza's largest medical facility.
"The deliberate targeting of police officers and government officials in Gaza illustrates their efforts to sow chaos and perpetuate violence among our resilient people. [The attack on Al-Shifa] also reveals the occupation leaders' endeavor to sabotage ongoing negotiations in Doha," he explained.
Haniyeh and Amir-Abdollahian discuss ongoing aggression on Gaza
Earlier last month, in a phone call with Haniyeh, Amir-Abdollahian expressed that the immediate end of Israeli crimes against the people of Gaza is necessary for establishing peace and stability throughout the region.
The Iranian Foreign Minister expressed his admiration for the Palestinian Resistance over the last 4 months in the face of the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza, emphasizing that the Palestinians, as the owners of the land of Palestine, have the full right to determine their future, emphasizing that "no party can impose their will and political plans on them."
Haniyeh reported on the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their Resistance groups in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as the plans and political initiatives suggested to bring an end to the Israeli aggression in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners, while emphasizing that the Resistance groups maintain unity and integration.
