Amir-Abdollahian: Most agreements with UK not implemented
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian told his British counterpart in a phone call that most post-JCPOA trade agreements between Iran and the UK were not implemented.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian told his British counterpart, Liz Truss, that most trade agreements that were signed after the JCPOA between Iran and the UK were not implemented, adding that strengthening trade and facilitating financial exchange between the two countries requires London to put in more work.
Amir-Abdollahian demanded that the UK repay its "long overdue" debt which is the Iranian people's right, which London must pay back as soon as possible, referring to the Iranian funds deposited in British banks during the reign of the Shah, which London froze after the Islamic Revolution.

guarantees.
The Iranian FM reiterated that the US is behind the JCPOA's current status, adding that other parties also bear some responsibility due to their silence toward the US measures.
He also noted that the restoration of trade relations with Iran is one of the commitments accepted by signatories of the JCPOA, which must be fully implemented in the Vienna Talks.
Truss optimistic about a return to Vienna Talks
British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss expressed her relief that the Vienna Talks have been scheduled, declaring that the E3 is serious about the talks.
Earlier today, the Iranian Foreign Ministry noted that not agreeing on everything in the talks is the same as not agreeing on anything.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh declared that all that the former rounds of talks have led to was a draft, calling on the US to "provide guarantees that it won’t abandon the deal again."
The Vienna Talks between Iran and the P4+1 will resume on November 29th, according to an announcement by Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani, who had been coordinating with EU External Action Service Chief, Enrique Mora.
